Students who want to take their English skills to the next level can build confidence through cultural immersion in this six-week program.
This is the only option where students, or “explorers,” will have the opportunity to increase their confidence in English communication and American culture through workshops.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
During the first two weeks of this six-week session, explorers will learn about American culture through interactive activities and trips to some of Missouri’s largest cities. Each day explorers will have a chance to utilize new vocabulary in areas such as sports, politics, food, and education. They will also get to enjoy high school sports and fun cultural events.
The explorer’s confidence will increase as they practice listening, responding, and participating in everyday American activities. Throughout this experience, explorers actively engage in U.S. history and government, sports, politics, customs/traditions, food, entrepreneurship, and high school/college education.
